Located on the continent's southern coast and near several trade routes that cross the Grellacian foothills, Dún Uisce operates under an ambiguous jurisdiction. While the city is within the limits of the Lichen Morells and would normally be under the domain of Lord Etienne, the Lord has stated he is "beholden to a diplomatic treaty dating back to the conception of the Council of Lords."

As a result of its legally-grey status, Dún Uisce has become as popular for pirates, thieves, and smugglers as it is for honest traders looking to ply their wares or caravans headed for Wiikwa'ibii.
