Lake Grellac was a freshwater lake of a similar size to the other four Great Lakes. Named by a local colony of elves for the frequent hailstorms that form over its waters, Lake Grellac was located at the center of the Lichen Morells in the 1st and 2nd Ages.
Historians have not yet found records dated from the end of the 2nd Age detailing the events leading to the disappearance of Lake Grellac.
After the turn of the 3rd Age, the once lush and vibrant Lichen Morells was replaced by a vast desert, with the Lost Lake occupying the basin formerly filled by Lake Grellac.
